Plain-English summary. Paced is a study planner sold by subscription: you pick a plan, it renews automatically, and you can cancel any time. Your study data is yours; we only store and process it to run the service. It's a planning tool, not a magic wand — we never promise grades, rankings or exam success. Be decent, don't abuse the service, and you can delete your account whenever you want.

1. Who we are & acceptance

Paced (the “Service”: the iOS app, the web app and this website) is published by Aim2Futur, a French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle) of Alexandre Doumergue, SIREN 951 422 740, Lyon, France. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.

2. The Service

Paced builds and maintains a personal study schedule: spaced-repetition reviews, capacity-aware planning, a calendar, and an evening review that calibrates the plan to your real pace. Full access to the Service requires an active subscription (see section 3). Features may evolve; if we materially change or withdraw something you rely on, we will tell you before the change applies to you.

3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

One subscription unlocks the whole Service on every device you sign in to — the iOS app and the web app share the same account. Plans are offered on a monthly, semester (6-month) or annual basis. The price, billing period and any free-trial terms are always displayed before you confirm, in your local currency; prices may differ by country.

Automatic renewal. Every plan renews automatically at the end of its period, at the then-current price for that plan, unless you cancel beforehand.
Free trial. Where offered (currently the monthly plan), the trial period is stated at checkout. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. Trials are limited to one per person.
Bought on iPhone (App Store). Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel in the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot issue them on Apple's behalf.
Bought on the web (card). Payment is processed by Stripe. Manage or cancel from the billing link in your confirmation email, or by writing to us; the change takes effect at the end of the current period.
Cancelling stops the next renewal — access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not pro-rate partial periods except where the law requires it.
EU/EEA right of withdrawal. Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. By starting to use the Service immediately, you ask us to begin performance during that period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. Statutory rights that cannot be waived are unaffected. For App Store purchases, Apple's own terms and refund process apply.
Price changes. We will give notice before a renewal at a new price, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
One account per person; you are responsible for activity under your account.
You must meet the age requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your content and data

The subjects, topics, schedules and history you create remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this data for the sole purpose of operating the Service (sync, planning, backups). You can delete your account at any time, which erases your synced study record; you may also request a copy of your data at contact@Paced.fr.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorised access attempts, scraping, resale, automated bulk use, disruption of the infrastructure, or unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that put the Service or other users at risk — with prior notice where the law requires it.

7. No academic guarantee

Paced is a planning and organisation tool. We make no promise of academic results — no grade, no ranking, no exam success. Outcomes depend on your work, your context and many factors outside the Service. Nothing in the Service constitutes educational, medical or professional advice.

8. Availability

We work hard for reliability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability: maintenance, third-party outages and force majeure happen. If a paid Service is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, contact us — we will make it right, in line with your statutory rights.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our proven fault, capped at the amount you paid for the Service over the twelve months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor any mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.

10. Ending things

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms, with notice where required.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will flag it in the app before the change applies to you. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law & disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there. Let's be honest: writing to contact@Paced.fr first is faster for everyone.
